Isaiah 43:1-3, 7, 10-13

But now, this is what the LORD says— he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior... Bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the ends of the earth—everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made.... “You are my witnesses,” declares the LORD, “and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me. I, even I, am the LORD, and apart from me there is no savior. I have revealed and saved and proclaimed—I, and not some foreign god among you. You are my witnesses,” declares the LORD, “that I am God. Yes, and from ancient days I am he. No one can deliver out of my hand. When I act, who can reverse it?”

Thanksgiving Psalms

A tradition in Josh's family is for everyone to write a Thanksgiving Psalm - even being far away from each other, we send them back and forth by email.  This is the first year that I had the girls participate too, and was blessed to see and hear their thankful hearts - spelling mistakes and all :)  Happy Thanksgiving. "Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." 1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18
 

Julie's Psalm:
Tis the season of lights...
Father of heavenly lights -
You do not change like shifting shadows
When everything around me changes
You gave me birth through your word of truth
Making me a kind of first fruits of all your creation.
O happy day!
Every good and perfect gift comes from You.
Grace upon grace,
One blessing after another,
One million gifts,
Starting with the life of your Son -
Grace and truth -
Who made You known.

Micheala's Psalm:
Thank you God my Savior every day of my life.
You are so porerful you can do anything.  Thank you
God for my brother and sisters.  Thank you for my
friends and my teachers.  My family and cousins.  
I love them all because they mean so much to me.
I love my grandparents and my pets.  My warm
cosy bed and my mom and dad.  I'm glad we have
a garden and my own room!  I snugle up in my blankets
and my PJs.  I'm thankful for my school suppplies.  I am 
thankful for everything in my life. Love, Michaela
